BioSpine is Fully Operational
The Surgeon General recently urged hospitals to postpone all elective procedures for healthy patients to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus and increase their focus on treating symptomatic patients.
At this time, the BioSpine Institute does not anticipate any interruptions to the treatment of our patients.
The BioSpine Institute has implemented a number of measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus to patients and staff by adhering to CDC guidelines and going beyond our already stringent protocols.
These measures include the following:
- All facilities are deep cleaned and sterilized throughout the day
- We have minimized the scheduling of patients to reduce patient to patient interaction
- All patients and staff are strongly advised to reschedule if any CV-19 symptoms are present. All patients that have traveled by air or outside the immediate area are rescheduled.
- We are closely monitoring communications from local, state, and federal agencies and will continue to communicate these updates to our patients.
It is also imperative to know that our surgery centers are exclusively for the BioSpine surgeons and their patients. Where hospitals performs hundreds of different types of surgeries, some being more invasive than others, minimally invasive spine surgeries are the only procedures performed at our facilities. These procedures are only performed on our thoroughly screened patients.
Rest assured you will be in excellent hands.
