Exercises for Back Pain

Back Exercises for Back Pain
Following surgery, our physical therapy team will discuss the ways in which the patient can strengthen their back and minimize the chance of developing back pain in the future.

Even if you are not a candidate for surgery and are experiencing lower back pain or neck pain, the following exercises are a great way to stretch and strengthen the muscles attached to the spine.

Committing to exercising the muscles that support the spine a few times a week is a great way to reduce back pain as age. These are some of the best exercises for lower back pain relief.

Follow along with Dr. Sherri Stone, a doctor of physical therapy and a patient educator at the BioSpine Institute, as she properly demonstrates how to perform yoga poses and body-weight work outs.

Before starting any exercise routine, it’s important to speak with your doctor about it.
